JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK
This past July, I flew across the country by myself (for the first time EVER) to Palm Springs, California. I met 7 other photographers & videographers for a retreat! We spent much of our 2 days shooting and hanging out by the pool in 115° weather.
For our second morning there we decided to wake up at 4am to drive to Joshua Tree National Park for the sunrise.
This was hands down one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Tears flooded my eyes as I saw the sun peak around the mountains & cover the desert in the most beautiful shades of pink and orange. We proceeded to explore the rest of the park and filled our morning with rock climbing, dancing in the road, and singing at the top of our lungs.
I am so thankful for this retreat for reminding me why I pursued this career and guiding me back to the root of my creativity.
